My passion for human-centered design all started with the habit of observing and imagining stories of people on the Taipei Metro as a kid. I was also drawn to creativity in every form—whether it was crafting birthday cards, losing myself in the wonders of museums, designing quirky props, or dancing ballet. As an introverted child, these moments of expression were my way of connecting with the world.

While pursuing my Bachelor's in Cognitive Science and Data Science, I explored ways to bridge my interest in humanities to science by researching and designing human-centered experiences. Meanwhile, being an athlete on the Cal Lightweight Crew and minoring in Architecture History has challenged me to think critically about who we are today as a supposedly collective species in this digitally individualized world. I am now an Innovation and Management and Human Factors Engineering dual degree graduate student at Tufts University, where I hope to integrate engineering, business, and design principles to uplift the human experience.
